What is Atlantic Oldies 2NG? We're an Internet only radio station that plays the greatest oldies that were hits on the radio stations, both here in America and also over the pond. We play the finest memorable songs from the past and bring back more memories per hour than any other radio station. Not only do we play the ones that everyone else does! but we also delve deep into the charts and play those number 38's and one-hit wonders!
Those great British Invasion hits as well as the British and European hits that just didn't get heard here in the U.S. (usually for a variety of reasons!) and those American hits that failed in the British or European charts. What do we consider oldies? Generally any song that hit the charts from the late Fifties to the mid Eighties. Naturally we wont play seriously heavy metal or other extremes. Any hour is an eclectic hour!
With songs from great American artists such as Roy Orbison, The Eagles, Jay and the Americans, Elvis and many British stars, The Beatles, Hermans Hermits, Status Quo, Electric Light Orchestra, Donna Summer, Showaddywaddy, Johnny Rivers, Diana Ross and thousands of others. With an extensive and deep collection that is being added to all the time, we can beat those heavily formatted FM's that bore you within a few minutes!
In each hour you will hear great songs from the Fifties through to the Eighties, a superb eclectic mix that no AM/FM ever does today! With a playlist in the thousands, anything can play next, and it will. No clever mathematicians, no hours of audience surveys or think-panels. We just shuffle the mix every week, apply a few rules and let the scheduler do its thing. It's like an iPod on steroids! The great thing is you will never know what is coming next!
